Hi sham, yes i do see some issues with my 9600 from time to time but the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
1.As of now Nvidia has better/widely available opensource graphic drivers than ATI cards , i have a built-in ati card and its a pain !
2.Its got the CUDA API which allows me to utilize the card to write parallel programs which thrilled me the most.

Well its a bit sucky too Kunal..
Apparently nvidia drivers dont go that well in many cases.. Thats i’ve seen on ubuntu itself…

Dont worry too much you can see it yourself. just try changing settings on compiz in ubuntu.. you see a lot of issues there.. and thats the beginning…

have you tried slackware? after using almost all the popular distributions, i finally came to one static distro. its good when you want to start from scratch or you want a deep understanding of how a simple linux system works.ubuntu has always been my secondary OS.
your second solution is not so convincing. you can always change any part of a standard gnu/linux distro. that aint a big deal. plus most of those people do it part-time as long as i know. so they wont be having more time for such loads.
anyways nice blog you have here. oss and linux everywhere..like it!

The software given along with the project didnt work for me in case it did for you please reply with the configuration of your computer and the setup used, the OS used etc.

Thanks a lot Alec, i was preparing to feature SVN, git and Hg(mercurial) CVS having been outdated but i didnt quite know about SVK and git-svk i’ll review those
also along with the above mentioned SCM’s .
Keep posting comments it helps me improve a lot !!
